Puerto Natales in Patagonia - A very lovely place on earth -

Puerto Natales, a pearl in South of Chile. Incredibly nice and cute, incredibly touristic town and... absolutely my style!

Stormy weather, sunny, blue sky, cloudy sky. Wild climate, rough and… a small town in the wilderness to fall in love with.

The wheather feels like bringt at North Sea thousand of years ago. I love the rough sea and winds. The colours are amting, fresh air feels like… I could fly! I feel everything inside that comes right out of me. I cannot specify but it is just overwhelming! I sit and enjoy the moment looking at the sea. Watch the water come and go. Breath in deeply and have typical smell in my nose that belongs to the sea. A bit of salt, algues and… water.

I walked through the small town. I visited the local super market to look what they offer. Christmas cookies! I order 3 of them. With black chocolate, white chocolate and one with marmelade. Yummiiii!

I take the whole walk along the seaside. There is no beach, and honestly: I did not expect one. I went back right to the hotel. But then stopped at a cafe two minutes before I reached the Vinnhaus, my hotel. I stepped in, bought post cards and then sat down to have a tea. It was such a lovely cafe and they had a postal box! I wrote the cards, sun was shining through the windows, and had the tea with fresh mint leaves. And then dropped the postal cards right into the red post box.
